    Walking between Gavarnie and Cauterets there are flowers everywhere.  Along with water pouring out of every crevice and newborn lambs being taken straight up onto the remnant snow by their mothers.  I wondered if this was to protect them from eagles – the snow being white so acting as a sort of camouflage.  If anyone can enlighten me, post a comment.                      Read More
