Blue Cairn Lodge Val d’Azun

 

 

In the Val d’Azun (the Pyrenees Garden of Eden so they say…) Mandy and Sacha rent out the cottage (4-6 people) in their garden all year round, and in summer they also rent the big main house (up to 12 people).

 

 

 

The Cottage

Suited for a family of 4, or 2 couples, the cottage has 2 bedrooms upstairs, with kitchen-dining and living on the ground floor.  The bathroom is on the intermediate level between the two.  South-west facing, with a flat garden in front and a wonderful outside eating area, the cottage just on the edge the village of Arras en Lavedan with easy access to the bakery, a post office and two bars/restaurants.  For local walks you just head out the door and up or down the hill.  The village is situated just 5 minutes above Argeles Gazost, a charming small town, and there are numerous activities in the area.  Mandy and Sacha, both international mountain leaders, are on hand to provide advice and support.
